Quirky communal layout with "whispering" guests at night. The morning chill in the en-suite reminded me to adjust the thermostat. Continental breakfast, so satisfyingly adequate.
I absolutely loved every single thing!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this B&B! The beautifully restored barn conversion offers stunning views of the countryside. The owners, Connie and Jan, were incredibly warm and friendly, constantly going out of their way to ensure my stay was wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic, and the home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with huge comfy beds, underfloor heating, and a cozy log burner that was always kept warm. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff made sure every little detail was taken care of. Additionally, the location was perfect, as it was close to a lake where I spent some great time on the beach.
All was perfect.

I recently stayed at this charming B&B in a peaceful location. As we arrived on bicycles, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. The evening meal prepared for us was delicious home cooking, and we were free to help ourselves to hot drinks anytime, with excellent coffee available. The beautiful terrace offered stunning views, and the modern, sleek interior of the old barn was well-maintained and stylish. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would definitely return if in the area again.
I do recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel. The interior had a quaint and cozy feel, with beautiful antique furniture and elegant floral prints. It made me feel like I was stepping back in time to a more refined era. The general areas, such as the communal room and garden, were impeccably maintained and had a welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The pathways were well lit and easy to navigate, and the staff were always there to lend a helping hand if needed. It made my stay comfortable and worry-free.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for fellow senior people, it would be for the children working there to offer more assistance with carrying luggage. It would have been nice to have someone help me with my bags, especially as I am not as strong as I used to be.

The double room at B&B Fleur De Lys Bleue had a private entrance, making me feel like I had my own little hideaway. It also had a tea/coffee maker, which was perfect for starting my mornings off right. Plus, the fully equipped private bathroom with a shower was a great convenience.
Personally, I found that having only a private entrance in the room was the only downside. But hey, others might still enjoy that feature!

Oh, how I loved hearing my fellow guests stumble in late at night. Such delightful company!
